I built a canvas-first consulting app for diagnosing automation opportunities across business departments. The tool organizes business context, operational maturity, bottlenecks, available data and AI opportunities by area, then generates an automation canvas, a process map, prioritized recommendations, a phased roadmap and an executive summary ready for presentation. The online layer uses Vercel Functions with Neon persistence, while the client keeps local autosave so the consulting session never loses momentum.
The challenge
The core challenge here was not just building a polished interface. It was designing a flow that fit the real business context, reduced operational noise and turned a fragmented process into something clearer, faster and more reliable.
That usually means aligning customer service, decision-making, record keeping, automation and follow-up under one coherent logic. In other words: making the product support the operation, not the other way around.
